The KISS!
As I was assembling albums this morning I was inspired to write down a few thoughts about "The KISS".....that first kiss a couple shares at the altar on their wedding day..
You may notice that my photo above doesn't really match this topic but here is why.............
Here is the setting......the ceremony is just about to wrap up. Tears have been shed and vows exchanged and that magical moment is about to happen to seal the deal. Everyone is waiting with anticipation! Mom's and Dad's have a front row seat to this symbolic event and here it comes! The officiant draws out this moment like it were the results of Best Actor at the Oscars.......the Bride leans in, the Groom leans in further and IT HAPPENS!!!!!!! That amazing and wonderful smooch that all have waited for (designer cocktails and bacon wrapped scallops are in reach just about now!).
But this is where things get a little strange and this is why I had to pause my album design to write this little tip. I have a recommendation and that is.......... PLEASE NO TONGUE! Okay, I know I sound old fashioned and those of you who know me would laugh out loud (lol) that I would even be bothered by this but here is the deal. Your parents are on the front row, there are small children holding your basket of petals and a little boy holding the bible not to mention 150 people watching in the orchestra section! Could we skip the Frenchie and do just a "Good Morning, Honey" or "How Was Your Day At Work" kind of kiss instead? I would even be fine with a LONG smooch while we all hold our breath but ..could we invite the tongue out later?
Anyway, now you know why I can't show a picture of this because I must protect the guilty/innocent (and keep my job as a photographer)
Thanks for listening :)
