Lily and Buddy met on their first day of their freshman year of college.  They became fast friends and soon knew that their friendship was filled with love.  Buddy is a "New Yorker" and proposed to  Lily on the top of the empire state building. Lily knew she wanted to marry on her beloved Maine Coast, but wanted to celebrate the New York Culture.  I took inspiration from the skyline in Slate Grey linens, bridesmaids' dresses, and the canary yellow was inspired by the taxi cabs.  Lily has an incredible vintage style and I wanted to translate that in her design.  We took the cube vases and wrapped them with vintage inspired paper and filled with white football mums, as well as canary yellow votives. Each Bridesmaid wore a vintage inspired piece of jewelry in a bold canary yellow.  The girls carried bright yellow football mums and Lily carried white bouquet wrapped with tulle.  Her flowers consisted of white hydrangeas, white football mums and ranunculus.
