A KPW Wedding in Southern New Hampshire

Emily and Jake’s wedding took place at a private home in Auburn, NH on August 29th, 2009.  Through the use of classic sunflowers combined with antique blue hydrangea and copper buckets we were able to create a beautiful wedding with a slight rustic feel and although we were forced to deal with a bit of rain, we were able to fully utilize not only an amazing barn space but two separate tented areas as well.

Take a look at some of the images below. . . KM

My Kate Parker Wedding - Emily and JakeHaving the ceremony inside rather then outside turned out to be wonderful. The barn was able to create a cozy, intimate space for everyone.

My Kate Parker Wedding - Emily and JakeWe used brown galvanized buckets filled with sunflowers to line the ceremony aisle.  For guest seating we decided to use wooden picnic style benches which helped utilize the smaller space and keep a casual feel.

My Kate Parker Wedding - Emily and JakeThis bridal bouquet was made of sunflowers, light blue delphinium, dark blue delphinium and dark blue Larkspur.  The combination created a very fun, summer feel.

My Kate Parker Wedding - Emily and JakeWe decided to Re-use the ceremony location and transition it into an evening lounge space for the wedding guests.  Combining the brown leather furniture and colorful star lanterns created a fun and relaxing space.

My Kate Parker Wedding - Emily and JakeThis wedding utilized multiple outdoor spaces including a barn and two separate tented areas, by using varying paper lantern colors and shapes in each space we were able to keep a casual fun feeling.

My Kate Parker Wedding - Emily and JakeThese birch bark votive candles are a great way to add a little rustic element to your wedding without going overboard.

My Kate Parker Wedding - Emily and JakeThe centerpieces were made of variegated blue Hydrangea, miniature green Hydrangea, miniature yellow Calla Lilies, dark blue Delphinium, light blue Delphinium, dark purple Larkspur, and light purple Larkspur.  The table linens, chairs,  glassware, china and flatware, all from Be Or Guest Party Rental, worked beautifully together and the lemon slice in the water glass added the finishing touch.

My Kate Parker Wedding - Emily and JakeWe used white paper lanterns in the ceiling of the main tent as well as some uplighting to create a more intimate and festive feel . . . check out the final result below.

    1. This is actually a very good issue you have discussed. It will be interesting to giving it a go myself and see if I have the very same conclusion.

    2. Photo booth use is becoming popular at major events because of the effect they have on people.  People react differently to personal cameras, but almost always behave silly in a photo booth.  What better mood thansilly for an event where people are initially nervous and have social anxieties.  Withe a booth, you can now buy “silly.”
