Are you in the process of planning your own wedding and have questions to ask but don’t know who to turn to?

Join us as my Kate Parker Wedding gathers local wedding experts to address different aspects of the wedding planning process.  Unlike bridal shows, we want you to bring any questions that you have about your own experience to the table for our wedding experts to help guide you through.

Each of our presenters will touch on topics specific to their expertise along with demonstrations that may be helpful to you.  Then by having a wedding planner join us, the planner will be able to answer any questions that you have and help guide you through your own wedding planning experience with recommendations.

The night will be filled with valuable planning information with plenty of items to take home with you at night’s end including a Madeleine’s Daughter card valued at $50!  And everyone has a chance to win a gift card to a name-changing service from Miss Now Mrs.  Light refreshments will be served throughout the night by Bonta Restaurant & Bar.

KP heading home from Bridal Market

I actually feel like the end of summer camp is here and I’m never going to see my new best friends again.  Lucky for me I live an hour from Doug Levy, I talk to Daphne multiple times a day, and I now wonder if everyone has a male or female version of themselves because my twin is Brian Adams. I think it’s safe to say my life has changed for the better this weekend and I’m just a bit overwhelmed about everything that has happened.  I was able to meet some of the most amazingly talented dress designers, catch up with old friends, and make life long friendships I’m so grateful to have.  I am excited to take my new energy and apply it to not only my business, but my life as well.

What can I say, other than, DOKPBADL

Sneak peek of Jorge Manuel’s amazing work

I was hoping to fall in love with a specific designer at Bridal Market and I found him the very first day!  Jorge Manuel is showing his 5th collection this year and he is a Miami-based bridal gown designer.  His talents FAR exceed his young age of 30 and I’m so excited to be working with him and his team on a very special project coming up this winter in New England so stay tuned for that.  In the meantime, meet Jorge and some of his amazing gowns.  “The details make all the difference” is the motto for our planning company, and I think you’ll agree with that it should be Jorge’s motto as well!  Enjoy!  KP

Everyone, meet Jorge!

Modern Trousseau at Bridal Market in NYC- KP’s favorites

I am having SO much fun in NYC with two of my favorite photographers, Doug Levy and Brian Adams, and one of my new favorite people, Ms. Daphne Oz.  I unfortunately missed my morning train into the city yesterday, but Doug was able to get to Modern Trousseau‘s flagship salon to photograph their new collection.  Let me just say how much I LOVE what Callie created at Modern Trousseau this season.  The lines are strong, the details are feminine, with a preppy twist, and they’re just perfect for many of our New England clients.  I wanted to show you my favorites!  Hope you enjoy the images!  KP

Modern details meets romantic texture.  I think the satin pleats over this all lace gown is so smart and sassy.  I bet it looks great on every body type too!

By far my favorite dress in this collection.  I think the lines are gorgeous, love the ruched cumber bun detail and the lace pattern has a bit of a 60′s throwback… LOVE LOVE LOVE

Adorable and sweet, tulle is back in style this year at Market! This dress can’t get much more romantic, right?

Polka dots = preppy nautical chic fabulousness.  I actually like the pick ups in the skirt and I think the belt with flower details is such a sweet addition.

If you want sleek and sophisticated, this is the dress for you.  Great fabric, simple lines, and you have a classic on your hands.

I love how simple and preppy this tiered dress is.  I think the bodice of the dress looks like horizontal ribbons.  Add the flower details and you have a romantic twist on a preppy gown.  Loving this so much.
