Kate Parker has quickly established herself as one of the most sought after wedding planners in New England and is known within the wedding industry for her exquisite taste and outstanding attention to detail.

With a unique background in opera performance and stage management, Kate Parker grew up in an entrepreneurial environment and learned the ins and outs of owning her own business.  Launching Kate Parker Weddings in 2003 as a one-woman planning company, Kate has expanded her business horizon to include floral and event design, custom out of town welcome baskets, bridesmaids gifts, flip flop valets, and Lola Parker Couture.  Kate Parker has been featured in many national and regional magazines including: Instyle Weddings, Elegant Bride, Wedding Channel Magazine, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Grace Ormonde Marriage, Boston’s Elegant Wedding, La Bella Bride Magazine, New Hampshire Magazine BRIDE, Seacoast Bride, Accent Home and Garden.  Her work has also been seen extensively online, including being a recent guest blogger on Weddingbee PRO.

Kate Parker’s experience as a wedding planner has prepared her for her most recent business venture, the creation of my Kate Parker Wedding- a completely unique online wedding resource for brides who want a highly customized wedding planning experience.  my Kate Parker Wedding is the first online planning resource designed and developed by a wedding planner.  Understanding how brides think and feel about their weddings has allowed Kate to create a fresh planning resource that taps into each bride’s desire to have a personal and customizable wedding, which includes the planning process.

Understanding that the real world brings its own challenges gives Kate much more perspective when it comes to the wedding industry itself and has given her the opportunity to think above and beyond its normal capabilities.  Being an entrepreneur, a mother, a wife, a type 1 diabetic and a cancer survivor, Kate has realized that she wants to do more than to help a limited number of brides for one single day in their lives.  Because of her own personal challenges and health struggles, Kate has decided to take advantage of the “soap box” of my Kate Parker Weddings to raise awareness of some of the issues so many of us face, including Kate herself.  We are so proud to say that a portion of each and every vendor’s yearly membership to my Kate Parker Wedding will go to the American Cancer Society, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the SPCA.
