Inspiration Board | Purple Passion

Let’s talk purple!  To be honest, growing up I was never purple-lover like practically ALL of my friends.  And until recently, I’ve started gravitating towards all things purple like bedding, shirts and accessories (ok, yes a flannel shirt — but really cute!), nail polish . . . the list could go on and on.  And when it came to wedding time (2 years ago), I would have never thought of it.  Well, here’s the perfect example of wanting to get married all over again! {ls}

    What We Love | Emici Bridal

    What do we love about Emici Bridal?  Pure elegance from simple silk blooms for your hair to luxurious dupioni bouquets embellished with rhinestones and freshwater pearls.  What I love about their selection is that it’s versatile for so many styled weddings where many of the items can either be given to bridesmaids as a gift or to wear again after the event.  And with the holidays coming up, a gift certificate to Emici Bridal may be the perfect stocking stuffer for the bride-to-be.  Below are just a few of our faves…

    The Bella Romantica headband or sash is the perfect way to give your dress a simple sparkle.  Many brides look to change the look of their dress from the ceremony to reception…this is perfect!  Me personally, I would love this for my hair and would wear this for several occasions beyond a wedding event.

    The Vivienne Silk Ring Pillow is made of hand ruffled ivory tulle flower with silk chiffon accents beaded with genuine freshwater pearls and crystal quartz.  This ring pillow is the perfect touch for a vintage or classic event.  I would have loved something like this incorporated into my event — but even better, perhaps something that I could hand down one day as the style is so simple and will always maintain it’s elegance throughout the years.  And if I don’t have children (and the day that I get a magical walk in closet with my wedding dress displayed on a vintage iron mannequin in the corner of my room), this pillow would be perfect to display on my make-believe chaise lounge!

    The Silk Catala and Jeweled Bloom bouquet is comprised of hand cut and formed silk fabric flowers of various shades of cream and ivory.  Each flower has its own hand placed highlights featuring either rhinestones, crystals, or genuine freshwater pearls.  Now, this is just extraordinary!

      Pink and Gray Wedding Details

      For a classic wedding style, gray tones and pinks are a perfect color combination to bring a sense of elegance to any part of your event.  MMD Events recently went fun crazy with this color combination for a inspirational design that makes me want to get married again (sorry honey!).  So be sure to get inspired below and visit MMD’s blog for more photos from their photo shoot.
