Featured in Martha Stewart Weddings | Sperry Tents Seacoast

Yay, Sperry! We love it when our vendors get featured and it’s always a great acknowledgment – needless to say – to be involved with the Martha Stewart team including Darcy Miller.  So if you haven’t picked up your Martha Stewart Weddings just yet, be sure you do.  I mean, how can you resist the ring cover — hello!

Onto the feature.  With the outdoor service held in front of Martha Stewart’s amazing stone-crafted horse barn in Bedford, New York, her nephew Chris and his long-time love, Tim, shared an amazing event with their closest family and friends.  Following the ceremony, guests were invited to a garden party with lawn games, picnic baskets and an amazing spread of culinary delights.  And of course, a comfortable setting would not be complete without a guest lounge underneath a Sperry tent to hide from the sun.  Click here to check out more photos and the details of this perfect country-setting affair.

    New Hampshire Real Wedding | Emily Herzig Floral Studio

    New Hampshire floral designer, Emily Herzig, is at it again!  I adore this wedding and I think it’s pretty hard not to.  This September wedding took place at Toad Hill Farm in Franconia, New Hampshire and the  mountainous view from the Sperry Tent were just beyond amazing!  Even more, the flowers boasted an organic feel with bouquets of astilbee, sweet peas, nigela, and ranunculus (just to name a few flowers) and wooden crates were overflowing with blooms and greens to complete a natural, rustic feel.  Check out the full featured wedding for more from this wedding.

      Lakeside Wedding | Meg Simone Wedding Films

      This past weekend, I was on my Facebook account and noticed a preview into Brooks’ wedding a few weekends ago – and obsessed with weddings, I couldn’t help but watch.  When I clicked on the link, I noticed that the film was created by Meg Simone Wedding Films (with event coordination by Signature Events) so I knew it was going to be good…ok, it was FABULOUS and I want to see more!

      Meg had quite an event to capture, from guests wearing mustaches to the bridesmaids wearing vibrant dresses.  And even if hurricane Earl decided to stay that evening, it wouldn’t even come close to wreaking havoc on this group of family and friends. {liz}

      Meg: I loved Brooks and Liz from the minute I met them, period. Having been together for over seven years, and with deep rooted memories with family and friends on Lake Winnipesaukee, I knew this was going to be one awesome lakeside celebration. I was fascinated with Liz’s desire to use Brook’s mother’s 30 year old wedding dress — as that’s rarely seen and done these days. The setting was unique (a rented home in Wolfeboro Bay) and the décor and personal touches were also “firsts” for many – when is the last time you were encouraged to wear a fake mustache at a wedding? It made for a night full of laughs and stories. I’m not sure the party ever stopped! My smile muscles still hurt!

        Rustic Wedding Inspiration

        The images below fit the style of rustic weddings to an absolute tee! So much greenery is used to create a real, natural setting. The birch tree candles and moss add so much detail giving off the earthy vibe. With neutral accents and earth tones to make up the color palette, there’s no going wrong with nature. I don’t think that cotton boutonniere could be more unique! For more wedding inspiration, head to the galleries on myKPW!
