We all know that Jennifer of Cookie Creatives by Jennifer is exceptionally talented. That’s been decided a long time ago. But her creativity surprises us every time we meet up with her. She always has new ideas to share and is not afraid of any challenge — and this is certainly a time consuming idea but a perfect way to tie in your favors into your place cards. It’s as simple as making your seating cards — a cookie!

Jennifer first started by giving all the cookies a simple ivory base with flowers to coordinate with the couple’s wedding decor. And trust me, Jennifer can do just about anything! I think I’m actually going to challenge her one of these days. Once the basic design is on each cookie, Jennifer transfers the guest list {tip below} onto each cookie.

Guest List Tip: As soon as you get engaged, of course you’re excited to start looking for a dress and flowers, etc. But this is a good time to start your guest list as well since it can be time consuming when you have to collect 100 or 300 names and addresses. So work on a handful of guests each week instead of doing it all at once. Confirm spouse and children names including the spellings. That way, when it comes time to handing off the names to your vendors, you’re not rushing to get the list completed.
