There are so many wedding photo shoots out there that we certainly adore and can only dream of for our own wedding. Trust me, many times as I was doing my very own planning, I would come across and amazing spread only to find out that the dishes included were antique which would cost me an arm and a leg to replicate! Of course photo shoots are a great way to inspire, allowing you to pull items from the design and to use on your own…but how of you have fallen in love with the entire thing? ME!!! Or, does anyone say what wedding budget does the photo shoot fall in to?
When we embarked on a series of photo shoots this summer, we had a mission. Not only did we want to gather amazing wedding professionals within the area to create beautiful designs, we wanted to educate couples on what particular wedding budgets can entail and how to cut back or splurge on particular items to achieve a desired look. Well the day of the shoot involved many gasps — good ones, I mean! The creativity that was brought to a seaside, Portsmouth locale was so enlightening and we couldn’t wait to share! Well luckily the team at Seacoast Bride enjoyed the work as well and decided to feature our six design teams in the 2011 issue!
Here’s a glimpse into the featured spread. There will be many more photos to share from the shoot as well as input from the design teams and photographers so stay tuned to the blog for more from this amazing day!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the shoot! And thank you Seacoast Bride for letting us be part of the magazine!
Miami-based gown designer, Jorge Manuel, graciously provided us gowns for a photo shoot in downtown Portsmouth. And yes, the exact location is none other than the adorable stationery and paper boutique known as Gus & Ruby Letterpress. Check out a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of Jorge Manuel’s winter|fall 2011 collection debut in Portsmouth! There is certainly more to come, so stay tuned!
I know there is much anticipation happening in hopes for a sneak peek of the photos from the myKPW New Hampshire photo shoot … so here is a little taste from four of our photographers. We had so much fun organizing the event and especially seeing the end product. Every one of our vendors came together to collaborate with each other and the tables, photographs, dessert buffets, cakes, and stationery were all fabulous! We still have two more photographers to share so stay tuned for the rest : )
