On May 10th, John & Tamara had their wedding reception at the Meadowlark Atrium Botanical Gardens in Vienna, VA.
Laurie Williams was the planner who referred me to this couple.
It was a Fillipino theme complete w/ decor, roast pig and dance.
Also, it was my first time at this venue.
The staff tried to have me use their 6ft table and tell me how to setup.
But I had something else in mind...
I bring my own table and skirt - plus the BOSE system I use tames ANY venue.
By being in control of my setup, allows for a sleek unobtrusive appearance that in no way, detracts from the venue.
Avalon catering and Blue Sky Films were on hand.
After their event, I sent a follow up email. Their comments really hit home on what truly makes me different.
Ed was excellent! My Husband and I were very concerned about the choice of DJ. We had both been to events where the DJ was very distracting.
We knew what we DIDN'T WANT—someone who was obnoxious, loud, used a cheap sound system that made their voice muffled and inaudible, and that basically turned the party into a sleazy night club.
We didn't know exactly what we DID WANT until we used Ed! He was clear and audible when we needed him to make announcements and otherwise blended into the background when the party was going on.
The music selection was perfect—always complimenting the mood and never drawing undo attention to itself. We would DEFINITELY recommend DJ Ed Witles to anyone who wants a class act for their special day.
Amy Woomer and Paul Stone got married at Historic Londontown & Gardens on June 19th, 2010.
Both ceremony and reception was at the venue.
I provided complete support for the ceremony and reception.
The venue is not difficult but can be very tricky if you want it done right.
The end result was a very nice letter of testimony from Amy.
Hi Ed,
Yes, the guests definitely had a great time. We’ve received multiple comments from guests about how good the music selection was and how well it was all executed.
For Paul and I, having interacted with you through the process, we were totally thrilled with everything. You did a great job of taking the musical style and song suggestions that we talked about and creating a vibe for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing music that were exactly what we were looking for!
We also really like having the recordings of the event – especially the ceremony and toasts. Those moments were so special and it’s great that we’ll be able to go back and listen to them and re-live them again and again for years to come. I’m sure they’ll be cherished as much as the wedding photos.
We would absolutely be more than happy to serve as a reference to any prospective clients! I’ll be sure to post a review on wedding wire in the very near future – probably this weekend.
Thank you so much again for all you did to help make our day so perfect!
-Amy
