Let’s face it. I love, love.

Most women have been planning their wedding since they were little girls. Sure, maybe not the nitty-gritty details, but we’ve all had our dream weddings in our mind. So wouldn’t you want an amazing record of that dream wedding? Choosing a photographer falls under that “nitty-gritty details” category, and you want someone whose passion is life and its special moments. Your wedding day most definitely qualifies. When I was a newspaper photographer, I took shots of everything from Super Bowls to hurricanes to presidential elections. But I decided to leave all that behind because I found that I got more pleasure in sharing in people’s celebrations, and that’s what drove me to start my own photography company – sharing in those special moments and being able to deliver reminders of them. Take a look at my website and see how I’ve captured not only the big event, but the little nuances that can be missed in all of the excitement. Then let’s discuss how I can help make your dream wedding a reality.

  • Beaming with excitement!

I'm so happy to be a part of KPW. I was thrilled when someone from the team contacted me about joining.

I'm a relatively new face in the wedding photography business. My background is in news-photography and for the past 11+ years I worked in newspapers. After having my son I wanted a more flexible schedule devoting my time for him and for the things I really enjoy doing, which includes wedding photography. It's been an interesting year juggling all of it, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I have the best life.

I think the skills I acquired working in news definitely make me stand out when choosing a wedding photographer. I use my photojournalism background to help document weddings in an unobtrusive way. I try to be a fly on the wall, but not one you want to swat! It works for me and my clients seems to find an ease in knowing that if they want something shot, I'm there.

I try to find couples who enjoy the same things as I do. I live for my family. My mom is my best friend. She was diagnosed in 1989 with breast cancer and is still fighting the battle today. I am a huge supporter of breast cancer awareness. I have learned so many life lessons from her. She really has a way of making everyone around her feel special and that is something I work to do every day. Whether it's connecting with a couple on their big day, or helping my six-year-old, tie her shoes, I try to be my best self and play cheerleader to everyone that walks into my life.

So, come back and visit my blog and let me be a part of your life.
