Your photographer is probably the most important vendor at your wedding. They are one of the few people who spend easily up to 10 hours working with you before the day of your wedding even arrives. They are also the person you entrust with capturing all the special moments of a day that not only marks the beginning of your new family, but also a day that will only happen once. Brides who choose the right photographer find that by the end of wedding, they and their family see that photographer almost as an extension of their family. Good photographers are also not that cheap and getting the one you trust and like may cause you to re-budget other parts of your wedding.
Each season (mine is from September to June) I start the year with a Photography Package Giveaway. I have seen how hard things have been for many young couples either having to pay for their own wedding or plan one on a extremely tightened budget. So this year, Ivan Apfel Photography is giving away a dream package to one lucky couple and and Engagement Package to the two runners up. See descriptions and rules below:
Dream Wedding Photography Package (Total Value: $4,219.00):
- Two (2) Engagement Sessions - This will allow you to shoot at different times of day at different location.
- Custom Guest Signature Book - Using the images from your Engagement sessions, a custom designed album with pages for guest signatures will be created.
- 2 Hours Rehearsal Coverage
- 12 Hours Wedding Day Coverage - Unlimited number of images shot by Ivan Apfel and not a third party photographer.
- Second Shooter/Assistant - 5 Hours of Coverage
- Complete Images Disc - All final images from wedding in high resolution format with printing rights.
- One 10x10, 24 side LayFlat Custom designed Bride and Groom Album
Double Engagement Package (Total Value: $598.00):
- Two (2) Engagement Sessions - This will allow you to shoot at different times of day at different location.
- Image Disc - All final Fully Retouched images in High Resolution format with printing rights.
Contest Entry: To enter to contest, simply send a picture of the two of you to info@apfelphotography.com along with your wedding date, your names, how long you have been together and what your wedding photography means to you.
How to Win:
Each Entrants photography, first name and photography statement will be posted in the “2011 - 2012 Dream Wedding Photography Contest” gallery on the Ivan Apfel Photography Facebook Fan Page. Fans will then vote for their favorite by clicking “Like”. At the end of the voting deadline, the couple with the most votes will win the Dream Wedding Photography Package, and the next two highest vote couples will receive the “Double Engagement Session Package” each.
*Please note, if your wedding date has already been booked prior to you submitting your entry, you will be notified that your date is not available.
Deadlines:
Voting begins October 1, 2010. Voting Ends Midnight December 31, 2010.
Rules:
Couples wedding must take place between September 1, 2011 and June 30th, 2012.
Wedding Location must be South of West Palm Beach and North of Marathon Key (City of West Palm Beach and City of Marathon Key are eligible). Weddings outside this location are eligible but will be charges standard travel costs based on location of event
Couple may not be existing client of Ivan Apfel Photography
Ivan Apfel Photography will be the only photographer providing photographic services for wedding.
Couple may solicit votes using any method they desire except for creating multiple Facebook accounts to vote for them self or soliciting others to create multiple Facebook accounts to vote for them.
