Although his number of spins around the sun would suggest otherwise, Mark Davidson has the photographic eye of someone who’s been shooting for decades. Mark developed his ultra-artistic talent while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography from the distinguished Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. At 22, he was accepted in the respected Wedding Photojournalist’s Association (WPJA), and broke into the wedding market working with the Lumiere Imaging, known for hiring the top talented and artistic photographers. Since then, he’s demonstrated his creativity shooting scores of weddings; and his photographs have been published in The Knot magazine, Brides magazine, The Wedding Channel as well as Photo District News. It’s obvious Mark simply loves his craft. He lives the art everyday by trying new techniques, pushing himself with editing styles and never settling for what’s in right now but instead searching for something new. His style has been described as photojournalistic photography at its highest form. Looking at their wedding photos, brides and grooms have been moved to tears to see the moments that only a trained eye like Mark’s could have ever caught on film. He’s extremely inconspicuous while shooting weddings, although looking at his results, you’d think he had his lens in guests’ faces.
