It excites us to think that generations into the future some kid will be watching one of our wedding films and have a window into the character and feelings of relatives they may only have heard about from their parents. Great photos capture amazing moments, Great wedding cinematography captures and retells a story and connect the moments that are the “dots of the day’. Sound is the magic elixir of presence. Just imagine a wedding without sound. The voices of people we love are magical vibrations that stir our souls and affect us again and again each time we hear them. A father’s whispered advice before walking his daughter down the aisle. A mother’s tear-filled words of love as she pins on her son’s boutonnière. A couple’s joint declaration of “we did it!” as they recess down the aisle. There will inevitably be moving and funny toasts that you’ll want to remember. I can guess forever about that mysterious look on my mom's face in her wedding portrait that sits on my desk - but without her saying something, I'll never know for sure what she was thinking, nor what was going through my dad’s mind as he gazed lovingly at her. There was no video back in those days. And for all these years, I wish I knew. As for how we will act at your wedding, we will look and act like honored guests. Most of our couples tell us they never knew we were there.
