Eco-Friendly Wedding Stationery that Blooms
This eco-friendly and nature loving couple wanted to be mindful of their impact on the environment as we discussed design options for their wedding stationery package. Planning a full weekend affair with many guests from out of town, they knew there would be a lot of information to share with their guests and wanted the design to be as eco-friendly as possible.
After a few design options, they chose this eco-friendly design using the following materials.
• Gatefold pocket wedding invitation designed using natural plantable flower seed paper (made from post-consumer waste).
• 100% Recycled ivory cardstock and envelopes
• Tiered inserts were printed front and back using soy inks
We loved the look and the feel of the paper so much we designed a coordinating wedding program using the balance of the paper from their wedding invitations. Multiple pages were held in place with a natural raffia ribbon and adorned them with dried lavender sprigs and a tag with their names and logo...simple, sweet and natural.
The flower seed paper contains a generous amount of a high-quality wildflower seed mix that contains Black Eyed Susan, Snapdragon, English Daisy, Sweet Alyssum seeds to name a few.
The seed paper is available in natural, white, petal pink, mint, sunshine yellow, baby blue and lavender.
